Torrejon Air Base-EF-18 Hornets & Preserved Aircraft February 2025

Following on from the CLAEX visit earlier that morning the Aviation Reporting UK team were allowed access to photograph the many EF-18 Hornets that were under the barns (sadly only a few flew this morning) and the specially marked aircraft that was towed out did not fly. Never the less the team had a great time watching them depart and recover, before heading over for photography of some of the bases preserved which is looked after by Ala-12. The bonus for us all was that the weather decided to finally play ball during the late morning and we would all have plenty of blue sky and sunshine throughout the rest of the visit.

The Aviation Reporting UK team would like to thank the Ala-12 command for hosting this visit on Torrejon Air Base and allowing us to visit with the squadron and their many preserved types on base.
