RAF Manston History Museum

The RAF Manston History Museum (Manston road Ramsgate) is devoted to the history of this famous airfield from 1916 to the present day. On show are aircraft and artifacts illustrating various aspects of the airfield, squadrons and personnel from World War 1 to 1999 and then Search & rescue and civil aviation until closure in 2013. Besides aicraft there are many photos and items of interest including vehicles from used in the film 'War Horse'. Open 10-16.00 all year - Note -subject to volunteer availability! It is co-located but not associated with the Spitfire and Hurricane Museum.
